Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Retrace (“the Service”). By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

The Service

Retrace is a trading journal that reconstructs and charts your trades from broker statements you upload or accounts you connect. It is for record-keeping and self-review only. Nothing in the Service is financial advice, and past performance shown in your journal does not predict future results.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

Your data

Your trades, notes, screenshots and journal entries are yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store and display them back to you and to anyone you explicitly share a link with. You can export or delete your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy.

Plans and billing

The free plan has usage limits; the Pro plan removes them for a recurring fee, billed through our payment provider. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you keep Pro access until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, no uploading of content you don't have the right to, and no use that violates applicable law. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability & liability

The Service is provided “as is.” We work to keep it available and accurate, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service or that candle/price data from third-party feeds is error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
